2. How She Met Her Husband
Although it is not exactly clear when she first met her husband, the pair were said to have met in Los Angeles a few years after she moved there. They were publicly seen together for the first time at the premiere of We Are Marshall in 2006.

Her husband James Wesley Brown was born on 26 January 1982 in Fort Worth, Texas, the US. He grew up together with his sister in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. His father James Brown is an English man, while his mother Peggy is Italian. He is an alumnus of Louisiana State University.
He gained recognition for his roles as Judson Lyons in Hart of Dixie and as Ryan Kerrigan in Private Practice. 5. Where Was She on September 11, 2001?
Amanda can never forget the horrific events of September 11, 2001, at the World Trade Center in New York City. Besides it being the day that hundreds of American lives perished, Amanda’s mother was having surgery for a tumor in her brain that faithful morning at the ICU of Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida.
A few days before that, she got a message from her dad asking her to call him. During the call, she sensed that something was wrong with her father’s voice. She was told that her mom was in the hospital, and was advised to stay calm and come there.
On reaching there, the doctors informed her that her mother had a brain tumor and her body was riddled with cancer. She needed brain surgery immediately and she was going to live for a month or so.
She was devastated by what the doctor said but after getting herself together, she told the surgeon that her mother is not undergoing the emergency surgery the next day as scheduled. She wanted her to be transferred to Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa. Seven days later, after several scans and tests were conducted, the oncologists were able to determine that her mother only had a single tumor in her brain. And that could be removed successfully.
Her mother had the surgery on 10th September 2001. A tumor the size of a golf ball was removed from her brain by Dr. Fernando Vale.
The following day, she was in the waiting area of the ICU for visiting hours to the clock when she saw the news about the attack on TV. She even saw when the second plane flew in the World Trade Center from the TV attached to the hospital bed.
Days later, her mother was discharged from the hospital. Five weeks later, her mother resumed work.

6. She Previously Worked At Disney ABC
As earlier mentioned, the Florida native had some jobs in the entertainment industry. What may have linked her to the industry is her work with Disney. She was the coordinator at Disney ABC TV group.
