Hansen was born on 18 February 1995 In Oslo, Norway’s Tsen district to her parents, Petter Norman Hansen and Bettina Graham Hansen. Hansen was inspired to play football as a young child by the exploits of football superstar Rivaldo. Up until the age of 14, Caroline participated in Lyn’s mixed-gender teams, which included both boys and girls. Her coach later said she was a bad influence to the boys on the team and she had to be moved up to play as a starter with Lyn’s G94 squad, which was comprised of boys a year older than her. Caroline claims that because the boys were physically stronger by that point, G94 is when she first began to play more strategically and make better decisions with the ball.
She Began Playing Professionally With Stabæk
Hansen began her professional playing career with Stabæk in the Norwegian Toppserien. She also made her senior squad debut in 2011 and has represented Norway at the youth international level. 2013 saw the talented player play a significant part in the Norwegian team’s silver-medal-winning performance at the UEFA Women’s Euro.
Her signing with the 2019 UEFA Women’s Champions League champions FC Barcelona and her performance with Norway at the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup made 2019 a breakthrough year for Caroline.
