They lost their little brother, Jayden when he was six months old as a result of Sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). He died while sleeping in his crib. Destiny and her surviving brother Lamar Jr are the only surviving offspring of Lamar and ex-girlfriend Liza Morales.
Her father’s close relationship with his high school coach, Jerry DeGregorio made him name Jerry Destiny’s godfather. Lamar calls DeGregorio his white dad and holds him in high esteem.
