Sekiya Billman is an Asian American stage actress and former office manager of BAM Design in Manhattan. However, she is most famous as the wife of Hoon Lee, an actor and voice actor known for his role in the action television series Banshee. The pair got married in 2008 and together they have two children.

Hoon Lee’s wife was born Sekiya Lovone Billman on April 18, 1968, which means she’s 55 years old at the moment and 5 years older than the actor. As you would find, her husband Hoon is 50 years old. He was born on July 18, 1973, and raised in Plymouth Massachusetts, USA.
While there are dearths of information about Sekiya’s early life and family background, we garnered that she was birthed to an Asian mother Tomoko Billlman, and Larry Billman who are natives of Brea, California, and was raised in Los Angeles United States alongside her sister Saadia Billman.

Sekiya Billman is an actress mostly known for theatre performances. Nonetheless, she only has one movie credit to her name. The Los Angeles native appeared in the 1999 American comedy-drama film, Liberty Heights where she portrayed a Holloween stripper.
While Liberty Height remains her only film, she has made a few stage appearances in theatre performances such as Canton Jazz Club (1991), Miss Saigon (1991), Shanghai Moon (1999), Call Me Madam (2000), and Sides: The Fear is Real (2006).
Since her last role in 2006, Sekiya has remained off the screen to pursue other businesses. She went on to become the office manager of BAM Design, an architectural firm in Manhattan.
Nonetheless, in 2021 news made waves that she has gone back into theatre acting after a 15 years hiatus to continue their popular show Sides: The Fear is Real alongside her husband Hoon Lee, The Civilian Associate Artist Cindy Cheung, and other casts including Paul Juhn, Peter Kim and Rodney To.
This became possible after the team decided to revive their theatre company, Mr. Miyagi’s Theatre Company which has been long abandoned. They have also opted for digital format and since begun the release of Sides: The Fear is Real Zoom Edition on YouTube.
Sekiya Billman has Been Married for Over a Decade
As you would find, Sekiya Billman has been married to Hoon Lee since 2008. According to the story, the pair first met in 2001 at a fundraiser in Taipei Taiwan, an Asian American theatre company in Manhattan while performing in a production Making Tracks.
They soon became friends and Sekiya later joined him at Mr. Miyagi’s Threatre Company where they worked together. After a while, the pair started a romantic relationship that saw them get married on October 26, 2008. Their marriage ceremony was held at Bubby’s Pie Company in Brooklyn and attended by a number of close friends and family members.
Sekiya and her husband Hoon Lee have been married for over 14 years and still counting. They have also managed to keep their marital business away from the public domain.
