Her Birth was Kept a Secret For Almost 5 Months
Hazel Krasinski was born on 16 February 2014 as the first daughter of Hazel Krasinski and Emily Blunt. She was born about 4 years after her parents were married on July 10, 2010, in Como, at the former home of American actor, George Clooney.
Her parents announced that they were pregnant with her in September 2013 and in December of the same year, she was born.
Nonetheless, her parents chose to keep her birth private and only made it public in May 2014. This was through her father’s Twitter page.
About 2 years after she was born, the family welcomed another daughter, Violet Krasinski who is now Hazel’s only sibling.

Hazel hails from a famous family, starting from her maternal great-grandfather, Major-General Peter Blunt. He was a George Medal awarded man who served as a British Army officer and businessman.
Also, Hazel is the grandniece of British politician, Crispin Blunt, who served as Members of Parliament for Reigate since 1997.
In the same vein, her father, John Krasinski is an American actor of Irish and Polish descent. He is famed for his roles in The Office, License to Wed (2007), and Brief Interviews with Hideous Men (2009).
Also, her mother, Emily Blunt is a British actress, ranked as one of the highest-paid actresses of 2020. The Golden Globe award-winning actress has been featured in The Devil Wears Prada (2006), The Girl on the Train (2016), A Quiet Place (2018), and Mary Poppins Returns (2018).
Despite her parents’ fame, Emily does not want either she (Hazel) or Violet to be conscious of the fame. However, Haze heard it from someone and then asked Emily if she was famous. Well, the actress cum mother of two said she didn’t think she was.
Haze’s parents do not want their children to feel any more important or special than other kids.

How She Became a Philanthropist
Both Emily Blunt and John Krasinski are into philanthropy works and their daughters, Hazel, and Violets also follow that path. In 2020, the celebrity daughters were involved in helping to raise funds to help the world in ways possible when COVID-19 was at its peak.
In order to realize the funds they used to help others, the girls designed t-shirts and tote bags. Then, they sent the proceeds to Guy Fieri’s initiative with the Restaurant Employees.
In a nutshell. the monies raised were to help people working in the hospitality industry.
