2. Heather Nudds met her husband at a fairground
Lee Evans shared how he met his wife at a party in Billericay in his autobiography. The comedian revealed how he almost lost her with a bad joke. He had earlier bumped into her at a fairground in Billericay and knocked her over. He mistakenly spilled her drink on her white dress. The meeting at the fairground apparently wasn’t the first time the future couple met. Evans had been to Nudds flat for a party. He fell in love with her at the party but did not have the guts to tell her.
He tried to win her over with another joke but she did not find it funny. He almost lost his chance when he asked after her sick mother who had passed without his knowledge.

Lee Evans was born to an Irish mother Shirley Hunt and a Welsh father Dave Evans on 25 February 1964 in Avonmouth. Lee grew up with his older brother Wayne watching his father pursue a career in comedy and music. His father reportedly performed in nightclubs and cruise ships like the QE2.
He decided to follow his father into entertainment. According to reports, the singer’s father died after a long cancer battle. Dave Evans passed in June 2019.

Heather’s only child Mollie is currently 31 years old. Mollie is a graduate of BFA in Illustration from Ringling College of Art and Design. She currently pursues a career as a content creator and freelance illustration.

Before Heather Nudds had her daughter, she had two pregnancies that failed to reach full term. The couple later agreed to try IVF but according to the comedian, despite the hormone injections his wife received, they couldn’t reach the next stage.
