Jordan Joy Hewson was born in Dublin on May 10, 1989, to the U2 lead singer Paul Hewson who is popularly known by his stage name Bono and his lifelong wife, Ali Hewson. With her background fighting for social justice, she decided to add the technology approach. In 2016, she founded Speakable, a Tech Company that advances the rights of people and matters that give them a voice. Considering her educational background, she is able to use this platform to promote issues that are of interest to her using technology.
It would be recalled that both of her parents are activists who have worked for different organizations. In fact, her father is the founder of ONE, an organization that fights to eradicate poverty among other causes.
Her company launched its first product named Action Button to empower readers through stories that inspire them. Also, the product can be embedded in other sites where readers can send in their feedback. So far, the product has been endorsed by celebrities including John Legend.
