Thereafter, she got into acting fully and made her acting debut in 2018 appearing in the film Deep where she portrayed Si Eio. Since her debut, she earned roles in a number of K-dramas including the 2020 Chio Jin Hyuk-led series, Zombie Detective, and the 2022 series I Have Not Done by Best Yet.
Jung was filming for a novel-based series titled Wedding Impossible which was in the production phase before her passing. According to reports, the production has been brought to a halt until further notice. Other casts of the series include Jeon Jong Seo, Moon Sang Min, Kim Do Wan, and Bae Yoon Kyung.
