Born on November 25, 1933, she started her entertainment career in 1953 at the age of 20. When she was 23, she met and married Bing Crosby, an American singer, actor, TV producer, personality, and businessman.
Bing was way older than Kathryn and was also previously married to another woman. However, with the death of his first wife, he sought love in many other women before finally finding the mother of his last 3 children.
Kathryn got married for the first time, to the father of her 3 children, in 1957 and they were married until 1977. They were separated following Bing Crosby’s death.

Harry Lillis Crosby (66 Years)
Harry was born on August 8, 1958, in Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center, Los Angeles. He was named after his father.
Harry started his career in the entertainment world, following in his father’s footsteps. He even studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
Bing’s first child from his second marriage toured and performed with him. At the time of Bing’s death, Harry was on an international tour with him. They both performed at Brighton on October 10, 1977, just before the unfortunate illness that befell the White Christmas singer.
Also, he was an actor who was featured in a few TV productions such as The Hollywood Palace, Friday the 13th, as well as The Private History of a Campaign That Failed.
When Harry’s father died, his desire for entertainment somewhat dwindled. He went on to further his education at the Gabelli School of Business of Fordham University. After this, he became an investment banker.
Harry has been married twice, first to a woman named Lisa and then to Mihaela with whom he has 2 children- Nicholas and Thea.
Some reports state that Harry Crosby still made appearances at clubs where he sings and as a philanthropist, supports the performing arts at Lincoln Center, NY.

Mary Frances Crosby (65 Years)
Of Bing’s 7 children, Mary is the only girl. She was born on September 14, 1959, in Los Angeles, California, United States of America.
Mary is an actress, following the path of her mother, and has remained the most famous of the Grant-Crosby children, so far.
Her journey towards an entertainment career started at the tender age of 4 when she earned an Actor’s Equity Card.
At the age of 15, she was done with high school and was enrolled at the University of Texas, Austin. She however dropped out of the university to pursue her acting dreams.
Mary enrolled in the American Conservatory Theatre located in Los Angeles. From there she began to hone her skills in acting and won many roles for her outstanding talent.
Kathryn’s daughter has movie roles in Tapeheads, The M Word, The Seagull, Dallas (TV Drama), as well as The Legend of Zorro.
Just like with her older brother, Mary has only fond memories of her father. She was his only daughter after all and so he was loving to her. However, he was also quite strict and hardheaded when it came to instilling discipline with her.

Nathaniel Patrick Crosby (62 Years)
Nathaniel Patrick Crosby is the last child of Bing and Kathryn together and individually. He was born on October 21, 1961, in Hillsborough, California, United States of America.
Just like with his older siblings, he was initially thrown into the world of entertainment. However, after realizing that wasn’t his forte, he opted out.
In a bid to remain close to his father somehow, Nathaniel picked up golf and would play with Bing to bond better with the singer.
This sport that was supposed to be a hobby eventually led him to become the 1981 US Amateur golf winner. He also won the 1982 Eisenhower Trophy as well as the 1983 Walker Cup title.
He made it to being a professional golfer but was later reinstated as an amateur. His career as a golfer ended after some years and he went into business.
Nathaniel’s business is in the sale of luxury timeshares on some of the world’s top golf courses.
He is a married man who has been married twice and has 4 biological children as well as 2 stepchildren from his marriages.

Bing Crosby’s 3 children with Kathryn aren’t the only kids the singer had in his 74 years on earth.
As already pointed out, Harry Lillis Crosby Jr., popularly known as Bing Crosby was married before he met Kathryn. His first wife was Dixie Lee, an American actress, dancer, and singer. They were married for 22 years from 1930 until she died in 1952.
In their 22 years of marriage, Bing and Lee welcomed 4 children together. The children are:
Gary Evan Crosby was born on June 27, 1933, and died on August 24, 1995. He lived for 62 years and died of lung cancer.
Dennis Michael Crosby was born on July 12, 1934. He was born as part of a twin but died on May 4, 1991. Dennis was 56 years old when he died of suicide inspired by his younger brother’s suicide as well as the disheartening divorce he was going through.
Philip Lang Crosby was born as the second twin of Dennis Michael Crosby. He was the only one of the first set of Crosby children who lived for almost 7 decades.
Philip died at the age of 69 on January 13, 2004. He suffered a heart attack and died in Woodlands Hills, California.
The last of the first 4 Crosby children is Lindsay Harry Crosby. He was born on January 5, 1938, and died on December 11, 1989. Lindsay committed suicide at the age of 51 after heavy drinking and emotional problems took the better of his mental health.
Bing Crosby and Dixie Lee’s children almost have differing opinions about their dad from the Grant-Crosby kids.
While the first 3 boys believed their dad was strict and even abusive, Lindsay and Bing’s other kids thought otherwise.
