The 46 years old actress was born in the capital and largest city of Afghanistan, Kabul on August 11, 1978
Alongside her family, she left Afghanistan as a child and headed to different countries before settling in Canada. There she live most of her life, attended schools such as a theatre school, Studio 58; and started a journey towards success as an actress.
At the age of 5, she discovered that she could act and the interest started to develop. Although she was a shy kid, Alizada had already been scouted by a talent agent when she was 13. Her acting career developed over the course of time and in 1995 when she was 21 years old, she was featured in the TV series Strange Luck.
She Was Engaged To Noel Fisher For 3 Years Before They Were Married

It was in 2005 when Layla was 27 years old that she met actor Noel Fisher on the set of the Canadian series Godiva. According to claims, there was an attraction at first between the couple but it was not until after the filming that they headed to start a romantic affair.
9 years into the relationship in 2014, the couple became engaged and lasted until another 3 years in 2017 before they headed to tie the knot. Layla and Fisher’s wedding was an intimate and private one with only family and close friends in attendance.
She is Multilingual
Although Layla’s English may seem flawless, the language was reportedly her 4th. She has knowledge of other international languages such as Farsi (Dari), Turkish, and French.
