How She Met And Married Danny Gokey
View this post on Instagram
Peralta and Gokey started dating in 2011. Gokey had lost his first wife, Sophia, in 2008 and hadn’t dated much since then. But when he saw Peralta on Twitter, he felt a special connection and reached out to her. Peralta usually didn’t answer messages from strangers, but she replied to Gokey because he wrote in Spanish, her native language.
They lived far apart, with Peralta in Miami and Gokey in Nashville, but they talked a lot on Skype. After dating for seven months, they got engaged, but the news was only made public on Christmas Day of 2011. Gokey proposed at the same place they had their first date, with a song her mother used to sing to her. He gave her a beautiful round-cut diamond ring.
They had an intimate ceremony on November 30, 2011, at Gokey’s house in Nashville, and had their honeymoon in the Dominican Republic. It was private, as only a few close friends were present.
On January 29, 2012, they had a wedding ceremony in Miami. They celebrate November 30th as their real anniversary, even though the media reports January 29th as their wedding date.
She Is A Proud Mother Of 4: 3 Boys And A Girl
Peralta’s journey into motherhood began in January 2013 with the arrival of her son, Daniel “Danny.” A year later, her family grew with the birth of her daughter, Victoria, in November 2014. In August 2017, she welcomed her son Emmanuel, and in August 2019, her youngest, Gabriel, completed her family of four kids.
Peralta is really happy to be a mom to four wonderful kids. She believes women can have children and follow their dreams too. It was tough for her when Daniel was born because she was still in school for journalism and had to take care of him. Later, her dad moved in to help.
On her Instagram and Facebook, it’s clear how much she loves her husband and kids. She always talks about them, and on their birthdays, she posts lovely messages to celebrate them.
