Maria Rose Galeotti was born to actress, singer/songwriter, and filmmaker Bethany Joy Lenz and Keyboardist and former member of the rock indie band Enation, Michael Galeotti. Her mother is popular for playing the role of Haley James Scott on the WB/The CW tv series One Tree Hill, while her father on the other hand was a member of Enation for eight years.
Her parents got married in 2005, but they divorced a year after she was born. Since the divorce nothing, much has been heard about her father except the news of his death in 2016 which was obviously a rumor.

Maria’s Rose Galeotti Parents Divorced After Seven Years Of Marriage
Bethany Joy Lenz and Michael Galeotti’s marriage only lasted for seven years before they got divorced in March 2012. Maria was just a year old at the time the union went sideways. The reason for the divorce hinges on her father’s struggle with alcohol addiction and the fact that it was affecting the marriage as some reports speculated.
Even though her mother seems to keep a tight arm on revealing her private details, she announced the news of the divorce to fans online. Also, she dropped the “Galeotti” surname for her own surname “Lenz”, since the union no longer exists. Regardless of the divorce, her mother said she and Maria’s father would be friends for the benefit of grooming and raising their daughter.
On the other hand, it seems her parents had some difficulty relieving the effects of the divorce. It was said that she once shared her predicament of working and raising her daughter as a single mother on Instagram. However, she appreciates the fact that the stress and the struggles are worth it.
While Maria’s father had it worst. It was said that his health deteriorated after the separation. In fact, he was reported dead in 2016.

Since the divorce from his daughter’s mother, Michael Galeotti disappeared into oblivion. As a result of his withdrawal from the public space, rumors started making rounds in the media that he has passed away.
Prior to the end of his marriage, it was indicated that he had been facing some serious health challenges that included hypertension, high cholesterol, and diverticulitis. Due to this, he started frequenting hospitals to take care of the problem. The divorce further worsened his situation.
Just before his purported demise, the father of 12 year-old reported went to the hospital, where he was admitted, but later left against the doctor’s advice. For days, he wasn’t picking up his calls.
So after not hearing from him, his friends visited his house and found his dead body.
However, there is an actor named Michael James Galeota who died under the same circumstances as Michael Galeotti. So, the news of the death of Maria’s father was a case of mistaken identity.
For being out of the side for too long, he was mistaken for Michael Galeota who died in January 2016. Therefore, Maria’s father is said to be alive.
