Mike Vitar and two of his colleagues were alleged of beating up a 22-year-old, Samuel Chang.
Vitar and one of the firefighters, Thomas Manor were charged with one count each of the assault that was likely to make to have a severe injury, and the third firefighter, Eric Carpenter, was charged with inflicting injury on the victim that caused him to brain a brain damage.
According to the report, Carpenter was hosting a Halloween party when they sported Chang, who lives with his grandmother in the neighborhood handing out sweets to children on Halloween. The three colleagues chased him down inflicting injury on the boy before he was choked by Carpenter.
Vitar was released on $30,000 bail and other fighters were placed on administrative leave with pay as the case continued.
