Before Bryan met his current wife, Robin, he was previously married to Mickey Middleton, who was a writer. They got married on November 10, 1977. At the time he was just 23 years old. Sadly, after 5 years together, they split in 1982.
There is not much information about Mickey, how they met, or what led to the divorce. However, Bryan revealed it was an amicable breakup. He added that they loved each other as people but they were not in love with each other.

Robin Dearden met her husband, Bryan Cranston in 1986, on the set of Airwolf. Bryan appeared on the show as a guest artist. He played the role of a jilted ex who held a cruise of sorority girls hostage. Robin on the other hand played the part of one of the sorority sisters being held captive.
In an interview, she revealed that he was holding a gun to her head when they first met. Robin said she thought he was cute while he was holding the gun. Although they both felt the spark at the time, they couldn’t pursue it further as they were involved with different people at the time.

In 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic, Robin and her husband, Bryan were diagnosed with the disease. The illness came with many symptoms for both of them.
Bryan revealed that even after they recovered, his sense of taste and smell did not return even after months of recovering from the illness.
