Her parents have been identified as Joseph Wilshire (Father) and Wilma Wilshire (Mother). More so, she was born as the last of 4 sisters known as ‘The Wiltshire Four’. Still, according to reports, Wilshire attended Holy Name Convent at the Port of Spain, after which she attended the John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York. She also attended The Rutgers School of Law-Newark located in New Jersey. At the latter, she received a master’s degree in Legal Studies.

On Sunday, July 2, 2023, Roxanne and Gloria Carter exchanged vows in a lavish private wedding ceremony in Tribeca, New York City. It’s unclear when the two started dating because they lived rather secret lives up until their marriage. However, they have reportedly been dating for a very long time. Several celebrities, including Beyonce, and film director Tyler Perry, attended the wedding ceremony. Kelly Rowland, Tina Knowles-Lawson, and Robin Roberts are some others.
Jay-Z and his mother, who has been well-known to the public for many years currently serve as the reason why Wilshire is in the spotlight.
Meanwhile, Gloria Carter, Jay-Z’s mother, came out as a lesbian in 2017, and her son who is a famous American rapper supported her choice. He also made a song called ‘Smile’ in honor of his mother’s coming out. Gloria Carter originally wrote the song as a poem while traveling to Los Angeles to visit her son, and it later appeared on his 4:44 album.
