Sam Kerr’s family members are sports enthusiasts. Her father, Roger Kerr is a former Australian rules football player and coach. He played senior football with East Fremantle and Perth as well as Port Adelaide in the South Australian National Football League before he went on to become Claremont’s coach in the WAFL. Roger Kerr played Australian rules football for East Fremantle and Perth in the West Australian Football League. He played from 1981 to 1991 when he finished his career with Perth.
As a coach, he worked with the South Colts under-19 from 2002 to 2004. He later became the senior coach of Claremont before he got sacked after the team lost their first five games during the 2009 WAFL season.
Her mother, Roxanne Kerr does not play any sport but also comes from a sporting family. Roxxanne’s father Harry Regan and her uncle Con Regan were professional footballers in the West Australian Football League. In addition to that, she had another uncle J.J Miller, who was a champion jockey.
Sam Kerr’s parent’s families both arrived Down Under after emigrating by ship. Evidently, they are part of the history of emigration to Australia in the early 20th Century.

Since he retired, he set up a foundation called TogetherWe Can, with the aim of promoting sports, music, and dance in primary-school kids especially the ones in remote communities.
Sam Kerr’s brother also launched a sports event company called Rad Promotions and has been lauded for his entrepreneurial zeal.
Her other siblings, Levi and Madeline, are not quite sporty. Levi owns a car wash while Madeline works as a primary school teacher.
