She was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and during her childhood, her father drove a refrigerated truck to support the family.
The details about her education are not so clear. Notwithstanding, she started another phase of her life when she got married to Peter Paul Matzdorf in 1963. Before her sad death, their marriage was blessed with two children, Andrew William Shalhoub, and Heidi Louise Shalhoub.
Michael Thomas Shalhoub
He is the third child of Tony Shalhoub’s parents. Michael was born on February 12, 1942, two years after his older brother, William.
He is also an actor like his brother. In fact, both men shared the screen together. He appeared in Monk. While his appearances were in a few scenes, it makes him and Tony one among other Hollywood siblings that worked alongside each other.
So far, his credited movies are; Monk (2002), Silver City (2004), and Disney Infinity (2013).
Aside from his acting roles, he keeps his life private, hence, all that is known about him now is his marriage to Beverly Paulette Shalhoub whom he married in 1972.

Daniel who is also referred to as Dan followed the line of their father who was a businessman during their childhood. Despite being a businessman, he is not into the selling of meat like Joe Shalhoub, he runs a line of businesses in the cleaning industry.
As such he started a window blind cleaning business named White Glove Ultra-Sonic Blind Cleaning in 1988 and is based in Milwaukee. Over the years, his business must have thrived as it is still running. Moreso, his decision to clean for a living has been likened to his brother’s famous role as the super neat detective Monk.
Away from his business, he got married to Karen Kaye Shalhoub in 2002. Aside from this, not much is known about their children.
Moving forward, his cleaning business is his source of livelihood. As such, the businessman also invented a dog cleaning device known as the Shapoopie. Apparently, he invented the device to ease the cleaning involved with dogs.
As revealed by his famous brother while promoting the device on a talk show, the invention started from the experience of having to clean up after a stray dog he brought home. Since he hated the cleanup, he had to find an easier way of doing it, thus, the invention of the dog cleaning device.
