Even though Tiger Woods’ mother has spent many decades of her life in the United States, we garnered that she is originally from Kanchanaburi, Thailand and her ancestry cuts across Thai, Chinese, and Dutch. She revealed in an interview that she only spent 25 years of her life in her native land.
From the records, Kultida Woods was born on September 30, 1946, and is 77 years old at the moment. She is one of three siblings born to her parents. Some of her siblings still reside in Thailand however, her parents reportedly divorced when she was young.

Tiger Woods’ mother, Kultida Woods was married in 1969 until the unfortunate death of her husband Earl Woods in 2006. Their love story dates back to 1966 when they first met in Thailand. At the time, Earl was working with the United States Army and was stationed there while she was working as a secretary.
The pair soon became friends and later began dating. Two years later, Kultida decided to move with him to America and a year later they tied the knot. Their marriage ceremony was held in Brooklyn, New York, and witnessed by a few friends and family members.
Tida and her husband Earl lived in New York for a few years but later relocated to California after the birth of their son in 1975. The couple maintained a great relationship until her husband passed away on May 3, 2006, at the age of 74 following a heart attack at his home in Cypress. Prior to this, he battled prostate cancer for over 5 years.
Kultida’s husband, Earl Woods was a U.S. Army infantry officer and a former college baseball player. Before his marriage to Tida, he was first married to Barbara Gary sometime in 1954 but they divorced in 1968. Barbara is also the mother of his three children, Earl Dennison Jr., Kevin Dale, and Royce Renee.

The 37 years of marriage between Kultida Woods and Earl Woods birthed a son named Eldrick Tont Woods who is famed as Tiger Woods. He was born on December 30, 1975, and is currently 47 years old.
