Renard Spivey is an American actor, producer, and former Bailiff who went viral in 2019 after he reportedly fired two shots at his wife, Patricia Marshall Spivey during an argument. He was arrested and accused of murdering his wife but later released on a $50,000 bond.
According to reports, Renard and Patricia got married in 2015 but their marriage was troubled by issues linked to infidelity and the use of steroids on her husband’s end. While Patricia was long dead before the authorities arrived, her husband stated that they were tussling over a gun when the shots were accidentally fired. However, this statement is still being questioned.

Renard Spivey was born Renard Leon Spivey on July 20, 1956, and he’s 68 years old at the moment. Information regarding his early life and family background are not known.
However, he since became famous as an actor thanks to his apperance in the legal drama series “Justice For All” where he portrayed a bailiff from 2012 to 2014 and acted alongside Judge Christaina Perez. He later earned roles in movies and series such as “Dead of Knight”, “The Man Who Came Back” and “Conflict of Interest”.
Prior to this, he worked as a member of the Harris County Sheriff Department and even rose to the position of an office deputy.
Renard Spivey was Married to Patricia Marshall Spivey for 4 Years
Renard and Patricia were married from 2015 until her unfortunate demise in 2019. Prior to Patricia, he was previously married to Heather P. Hogrobrooks in 1978 and later he married his second wife Debra Melrose. However, what may have caused their separation has not been established.
Information on how and when Renard and Patricia met is not known, nonetheless, we garnered that she became his third wife on March 21, 2015. Their wedding ceremony was held in Harris, Texas, and attended by a number of close friends and family.
The pair were together for a little over 4 years until trouble began to brew in their marriage. According to Patricia’s brother Ezra Washington, the former couple were often at loggerheads with each other. He also added that their argument was often based on lack of intimacy, use of steroids, and infidelity on Renard’s part.
While they would often settle their differences and move on, issue between them kept recurring. Unfortunately, the pair got into a fight during one of those arguments and it ended up bloody while tussling with the gun. Patricia died on the spot after two bullets hit her and Renard was left with gunshot wounds on his leg.

Was Renard Convicted For His Wife’s Murder?
Following the tragic incident between Renard and his wife Patricia, he called 911 at 3:10 a.m. to report that he was wounded and a summary of the accidental shooting at his residence. However, the authorities noted that the scene didn’t match up with his claims that the shooting was accidental.
Renard was found nursing his wounds while his wife was found dead in the master bedroom’ closet. Medical investigators reported that Patricia was shot twice in her right arm causing her bone to break and a strike across her heart and lungs. They also observed bruises on her wrists.
Patricia’s husband was arrested and booked for jail but later released on a $50,000 bond. It’s unclear if he was convicted. Nonetheless, it was reported that ongoing investigations would prove if it was really an accident. Also, a mental health assessment was ordered to check if he had a mental illness or intellectual disability.
Where is Renard Right Now?
Since the case, Renard disappeared from the limelight and resolved to a private life. There are no clues about his whereabouts and it’s difficult to tell what he has been up to. Notwithstanding, we can assert that he is living somewhere in the United States as his travel restrictions have not been lifted.
