Willie was later diagnosed with cancer in 1984, while India was about 8 months old. Her cancer diagnosis was devastating news for her and her husband and the pair did all they could to fight it. Unfortunately, she passed on 23 April 1986 in Malibu, Los Angeles, aged 41.

Meanwhile, Gail’s daughter with Harris, Grace Gail, is a model. She is also known to have married the American actor Adam Rodriguez in 2016. They have three children, including son Bridgemont Bernard Rodriguez who was born on March 16, 2020.

As earlier captured, Willie’s husband Max Gail, 81, is an American actor who has made several TV, stage, and movie appearances. He has been active since 1970 and has several works to his credit. Gail also won the 2019 and 2021 Daytime Emmy Awards for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Mike Corbin on the soap opera General Hospital.
