He has been married to Clinton Kelly since 2009
Bayles and Kelly are not just partners but also co-workers. The pair now combine forces through what they call the “Psychology of Style” to help audiences in their quest for self-esteem and confidence with a two-pronged approach.
Damon Bayles’ husband is an award-winning TV personality and lifestyle consultant who started his career as a New York magazine editor and freelance writer.
Clinton Kelly has published many bestselling books including I Hate Everyone Except You but he gained fame as the co-host of the popular makeover program What Not To Wear.
Kelly has spent over 10 years making over more than 300 women and talking them through how to dress.
Kelly currently contributes to Women’s Day as a columnist and a style expert.
Kelly splits his time between Manhattan and Connecticut where he and Bayles live. The couple had a rescue dog, Mary, which was featured in many of Clinton Kelly’s social media posts. Sadly, the dog passed away in May 2022.
During an interview, the style expert admitted he had too many portraits of Mary.
Besides the psychology of style, the couple have worked together to renovate their home using unusual pairings to give it a unique and fun look. The couple had to do this when they bought their Miami apartment.
While Damon Bayles is always working with people to help them manage their social issues, his partner almost destroyed a friendship he built on TV several years back. Kelly and London were involved in a feud that reportedly began after their TLC show came to an end after 10 years in 2013. The feud was aggravated after the release of Kelly’s 2017 book, I Hate Everyone Except You.
In the book, he wrote that he either adored Stacy or despised her and that they spent too much time together against their own free will. The comment stirred a lot of emotions that eventually led to Stacy blocking him on social media.
After 10 years, Kelly and London buried the hatchet and went on a 10-city live tour together.
