Jernard Burks got into Theatre Acting in High School
Burks was born in October 1967 and attended Eisenhower High School, in Houston, Texas. His mother Billie Burks turned 80 years old in February 2023.
While in high school, Burks, began to hone his acting skills and was involved in theatre, singing duets, and acting. He schooled alongside Nephew Tommy, also known as Thomas Miles, an American comedian, actor, and producer.
After high school, Jernard then went on to study at Kansas Wesleyan University, Salina, Kansas. From the school’s newspaper report dating back to 1989, Jernard Burks was a part of the school’s football team.
Upon graduating from the University, the Devil in a Blue Dress actor then went on to pursue a career in acting. His first acting credit wasn’t until 1994, as already stated.
