Going by his name, you will easily find that Seung Yong Chung has Korean ancestry. He is the son of Young Ja Chung and Tae Wha Chung of Rockville, Md. His mother retired as a nurse at George Washington University Hospital in Washington while his father is the president of Intraco Korea, an importer and exporter of manufactured goods in Seoul.
Seung Yong Chung’s Parents Did not Want Him to Marry Outside His Race
Seung and the American actress Diane Farr started dating in 2005. After the pair’s relationship kicked off, Seung revealed to Diane that his parents were against him marrying someone outside his Korean race. Consequently, they had to jump a few hurdles before bringing both of their parents to fit into the equation of their wedding.
They finally got married on June 24, 2006, at Rainbow Tarns, a lodge in Mammoth Lakes in California. Their wedding ceremony was officiated by Barry G. Littman, a film executive, and Five Buddhist monks.
In an exclusive interview, Diane revealed that they got pregnant on their wedding night for their first child. Their son (Beckett) was born basically 10 months after their wedding. When Beckett was only 9 months old, Diane said they accidentally got pregnant again. They later gave birth to twin daughters, Sawyer, and Coco Chung in 2008. Interestingly, Seung and Diane had 3 children within 16 months of their marriage.
