Irma Eubanks and Deborah Eubanks are the wives of TV personality, Robert Leland Eubanks. He was married to his first wife, Irma, for more than 3 decades although they separated in the 1990s.
During their marriage, they welcomed 3 children together and lived a family life of adventure. However, Irma suffered a prolonged illness that eventually ended their legal union.
In 2002, Bob remarried a college student named Deborah James. She was almost half his age but that didn’t deter their love. Deborah turned out to be a wedding/events coordinator in California.
Bob Eubanks’ First Wife was a Michigan-born Athlete, Rancher, and Art Collector
Bob’s first wife was born Irma Charlotte Barnard on January 28, 1924, in Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan, United States. Her parents were Llewlyn Barnard and Sarah A. Marz (who had German roots).
Irma was a Figure skating champion and dancer and was part of the Pedro Lorca Flamenco Group.
She met the man who turned out to be her future husband sometime in the 1960s and by September 10, 1969, she got married to him. Her husband is Robert Leland Eubanks famously known as Bob Eubanks.
From Irma’s age, she was about 14 years older than her husband who was born on January 8, 1938. This explains why she went under the knife to undergo a nose job. She wanted to continue looking young for her husband and because she wanted to live long.
Irma and Bob lived a somewhat fulfilled marital life. They bought a cattle ranch in California, a year into their marriage. The ranch was 20 acres big but they eventually expanded it to be 26 acres large. This property was named Santa Ynez and it hosted quite a number of notable events.
The ranch and its activities were run until 2008 and then it was closed but rumor has it that it was revived in 2014.
The Bob Eubanks family enjoyed many days of roping and riding as well as rodeos. Irma was also passionate about interior decorating, landscaping, and equestrian shows which she hosted once or twice yearly.
Something else she was famously known for was her love for collecting art. She would always be remembered for also hosting art exhibition shows twice a year known as Peppertree Art Show.
Their marriage lasted for 33 years spanning from 1969 to 2002. However, they got separated sometime in the 1990s. The rumor further revealed that the couple never got legally divorced though.
She Died in 2002 of a Prolonged Illness
Irma, Bob Eubanks’ first wife, suffered an unnamed illness through the 1990s. This was about the same time that she and her husband got separated.
The illness lasted for so long until she passed away on January 19, 2002. She died in Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara County, California, United States of America.
Irma was 77 years old at the time of her death and just a few days away from turning 78.
Following her death, she was buried at Oak Hill Cemetery, California.
Bob Eubanks Remarried His Second Wife, Deborah, Shortly After the Death of His First Wife
2 years after Bob Eubanks’ first wife passed on, he got married to another woman. His new wife is a wedding/events coordinator based in Ventura, California, Deborah Eubanks (nee James).
The couple met when Deborah was still a college student. After meeting with the TV host for an interview over lunch for a school project, they fell in love.
This meeting is reported to have happened about the same time he was separated from Irma.
Despite being half Bob’s age, Deborah was not deterred and chose to get married to the Game Show Host. She was 29 years younger than Bob and that raised eyebrows more than the Radio personality’s quick turn-around.
Despite all the controversies surrounding their union, the couple seem to be happy and have remained married for many years now. They even bought a house together in Westlake Village, California but sold it in 2010.
Deborah owns a company known as Bella Vita Events. She was a former Actress, model, and even talent show winner. She was born on August 19, 1967, in Nashville, Tennessee, United States of America.
