Lucille Soong is a Chinese-American actress who is famous for her portrayal of Jenny Huang in the television series Fresh Off the Boat (2015-2020). Lucille made her professional debut in 1959 and she has remained active to date.

Who Is Lucille Soong?
Lucille Soong was born on August 15, 1938, and she is 85 years old at the moment. Not much is known about her early childhood but according to reports Soong moved from Beijing, China to Hong Kong at the age of 21 and it was there she began to make her screen appearances.
The Actress Made Her First Screen Appearance in 1959
Lucille made her first uncredited screen appearance in the 1959 film Ferry to Hong Kong. When she moved from Hong Kong to London, she was walking to shop for groceries in the street and an agent chased her with another screen offer. This saw her starring in 55 days at Peking (1963).
She went on to have single-episode roles in British film and TV series Ghost Squad, Crane, Emergency-Ward 10, and The Champions.
In 1969, the Chinese actress starred in the soap opera Coronation Street, playing the role of Billy Walker’s short-term girlfriend in 5 episodes. In the show, her character suffered abuse from his mother Annie Walker, and she soon broke up with him.
Besides becoming an actress, Lucille was one of the first Chinese models to work in England. Throughout the ’60s, Soong found roles in a long string of British films and TV shows.
Her First Major Screen Role was in 2003
Lucille’s first significant performance in Hollywood is in her portrayal of Pei-Pei’s mother in the 2003 adaptation of Freaky Friday. Additionally, she went on to appear in films including Nora’s Hair Salon (2004), Just Like Heaven (2005), and Nine Dead (2009).
Moving on, Lucille Soong’s television credits include 7 episodes of the ABC prime-time soap, Desperate Housewives, Fresh Off the Boat, Dharma & Greg, and Passions to mention a few. Who is Lucille Soong’s Husband?
