Similarly, Jenna’s father, Edward A. Ortega is 100 percent Mexican but is not very sure which part of Mexico his family is from since they moved to California several years before he was born. At the moment, it is alleged that Edward is a businessman but this is not yet confirmed.
Meanwhile, in an exclusive interview, Jenna revealed that her father does not speak Spanish, and trying to teach her and her siblings when they were little was a struggle. Their mom on the other hand is bilingual because her grandmother babysat her often and taught her Spanish. Now thanks to her mom and grandmother, Jenna is able to speak both Spanish and English.

Mariah is their second daughter and she was born on January 25, 1999. The third is Mia, born on May 15, 2000, and then Jenna happens to be the next, born on September 27, 2002. Lastly, the couple welcomed adorable twin siblings, Aaliyah and Markus, in June 2004.

Jenna Ortega’s Parents do Their best to Maintain Their Mexican traditions
The American movie star, Jenna has said that her family has done their best to keep their most important Mexican traditions alive over the years. These include piñatas during birthday celebrations and freshly made tamales at Christmas time. She also said that her mom makes delicious homemade beans while her dad makes amazing tacos and carne asada, all of which are Mexican delicacies.

Jenna’s mother is an exceptional nurse that has a servant’s heart. Her outstanding nursing work includes a 2010 medical expedition to Haiti, where an earthquake claimed the lives of thousands of people.
