Jess Brolin was born to his parents James Brolin and Jane Cameron Agee on February 7, 1972. From established records, he was raised alongside his older brother, Josh Brolin on a ranch in Templeton, California.
His father pursued a career in the entertainment industry as an actor while his mother was mostly known as a wildlife activist. She was the one who revealed that her son Jess suffered emotional issues and blamed herself for it. Though no hints were given about his diagnosis, she noted that the abnormality made him attend a special school to help him cope.
