It would be recalled that Julie grew up around acting as her father, Ralph Herrod, was a director at CBS-TV and founder of Playwright Opportunity Theatre in Greenwich Village.

She started working at one of San Francisco’s notable landmarks in 2018 and from what we know of her husband, this is something that they both share in common.

At the center, she provides services that range from walking dogs to in-kennel enrichment for the animals.
Prior to this, Herrod’s love for animals started during her internship with WildAid. This was back in 2010 and it lasted till 2011. Following this, she went into animal volunteering, and ever since, she has not turned back.
