Monroe Cannon Was Born During Her Father’s Marriage to Mariah Carey
Monroe was born on April 30, 2011, to Nick Cannon and the Grammy-award-winning singer, Mariah Carey. She and her twin brother, Morocco (Roc) were the only children Nick and Mariah had in their marriage of six years: the union lasted from 2008 to 2014 when they separated, and then finally divorced in 2016.
Her parent’s marriage was the first for Cannon who is a decade younger than Mariah. It was Mariah’s second marriage as she was previously married to record label boss, Tommy Mottola. This was from 1993 to 1998; their marriage did not produce any kids.
Cannon and his ex-wife, Carey have moved on with their lives. On her part, Mariah did not give birth to other kids after the twins. The Obsessed singer has revealed that she doesn’t want anything to do with Cannon’s other children. She does not consider them her stepchildren since she is no longer married to the TV host and actor/rapper.
Monroe Is a Model and Aspiring Actress
Monroe has set a path for herself as a model. She appeared in the OshKosh B’gosh back-to-school campaign in 2021 as her mother’s younger version. Her mother was super-excited about this as she enjoys seeing her children follow their dreams.
As an actress, the 12-year-old appeared in her mother’s Mariah’s World (2016) alongside her father and brother. You will also find her in All I Want For Christmas (2017) and Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special (2020).
Morocco Cannon
Roc is the second half of the twins born to Cannon and his ex-wife. He was named after the Moroccan decor of the apartment where his parents got engaged. Having shared all his life with Monroe, he has also made appearances with her in their mother’s Christmas songs.
Drawing from that, he may also have an interest in modeling just like his sister. In a Tiktok video shared by Carey, the 12–year-old appeared in a staged fashion show with an audience. This might have been staged for fun, it is unclear whether Roc has made his debut modeling appearance.

Golden Sagon Cannon
He is the third child of the Masked Singer host whom he had with Brittany Bell. At his birth, Nick had just finalized his divorce from Carey in 2016. The birth of Golden with the former Miss Guam marked the beginning of his father’s polyamorous affairs with many baby mamas.
Powerful Queen Cannon
Powerful was born on December 23, 2020, to Nick and Brittany Bell. The Wild n’ Out host refers to her as his hero. Well, this is not far from the truth considering her arrival before Christmas and after the death of Zen a few months prior as we shall see later.
Also, she was born at home. And at 20 months old, Nick’s 4th child sat bravely while a cast was removed from her legs.
Zillion Heir Cannon and Zion Mixolydian Cannon
The 2-year-olds are the second pair of twins born to Nick Cannon. He had them with Abby De La Rosa on June 14, 2021.
Their birth raised a lot of issues like the need for the presenter to cut down on having children. However, Cannon made it clear that he was having them on purpose.
Zen Cannon
Zen was born on June 23, 2021, and he is the seventh child born to the Love Don’t Cost a Thing Actor. He had him with his partner, Alyssa Scott. Cannon and Scott were happy with his birth but it was short-lived as Zen was diagnosed with brain cancer at two months old. Sadly for the pair, Zen died five months later on December 5, 2021.
Though he has since had other children, Cannon and the model have continued to share memories of their son on different platforms.
Legendary Love Cannon
He was born to the actor and model Bre Tiesi who also happens to be Nick’s fourth baby mama. Tiesi chose to not publicize Legendary’s pregnancy and birth as that of most of Nick Cannon’s children. This is quite surprising since Nick is known to share such details on his social media handle. Legendary’s birth date was only revealed after Tiesi’s Instagram fans asked why the model was in the gym soon after giving birth.
It turns out that the successful model got pregnant close to the time that Zen died, hence the need to keep it private. More so, she needed to keep it away from the news as it was about the same time the America’s Got Talent host was said to have gone for a vasectomy consultation.
Onyx Ice Cole Cannon
She was born on September 14, 2022, to Nick and model cum photographer, LaNisha Cole. Onyx is the first child of the pair and the first among four children that Nick welcomed in the year 2022.
Looking at Nick’s relationship with Cole, it is clear that she is his fifth baby mama and one of the many women in his life at the moment.
Rise Messiah Cannon
Her birth on September 23, 2022, made the Masked Singer Host a father for the tenth time. She is the third child Nick shares with Britanny Bell. While he has not shown signs of slowing down on having kids, her pregnancy is one of the overlapping pregnancies that Nick is involved in within the same year.
The release of his song I Do raise the question of Cannon wanting to get married again. In a radio interview, he hinted that he is a hopeless romantic who has failed at monogamy. However, this has not taken away the possibility since he concluded that “we gon’ figure it out”.
Beautiful Zeppelin Cannon
She is the 11th child of the DJ and MTV host; he had her with Abby De La Rosa who’s also the mother of his twins, Zion and Zillion. Abby isn’t bothered that Nick is polyamorous. She has made it clear that being involved with someone like Nick doesn’t connote a lack of self-esteem. She hopes her child would come to appreciate their blended family.
