Nick Carter’s wife Lauren Kitt Carter has been with him since 2014 and they share three children, Odin, 8, Saoirse,5, and Pearl, 3. Lauren is a fitness trainer and a budding actress. She has appeared in several productions including The Pendant and Syfy’s Dead 7. Besides acting, she is a model and fitness competitor.
Before Nick and his wife had their first child, Lauren suffered a miscarriage. Apparently, the couple both have struggled with drug and alcohol abuse.
Meet Nick Carter’s Wife, Lauren Kitt Carter
Lauren Michelle Kitt was born on June 3, 1983, in Los Angeles, California. According to reports, Lauren had a rough childhood after her parents’ divorce when she was only 9. Her mother was a con artist.
As she grew older, she moved to Tokyo where she lived for three years working at animal hospitals. She was a veterinarian technician specialist for over a decade. She later moved back to Paris and later to the United States of America.
Prior to becoming an actress, the mother of three also worked as a fitness expert/trainer, fitness competitor, and model.
Moving on, Lauren Kitt got to meet Nick Carter through his sister Angel Carter and another mutual friend that was dating Nick’s brother in 2009. They dated for 5 years before a 13-month-long engagement followed.
They Have Three Children
The pair eventually married on April 12, 2014. Shortly after the wedding, Lauren suffered her first miscarriage in 2015. That was before the birth of their son, Odin in April 2016. Odin was born after his mother had a 30-hour labor and weighed in at 8 lbs., 11 oz.
Again, she had a threatened miscarriage in September 2018 while she was 3 months pregnant with their second child and first daughter, Saoirse Reign Carter. Saoirse was born on October 2, 2019.
Two days after celebrating her son’s birthday in April 2021, Kitt and Nick welcomed their third child and second daughter, Pearl R. Carter.
The singer’s children Odin, Saoirse, and Pearl once helped their father to host Cure 4 the Kids Home 4 the Holiday virtual cooking event.
Nick Carter and Lauren Kitt’s Marriage Has Been through several Ups and Downs
The year 2022 was a tough year for the Carters. Following the death of Nick’s brother, Aaron Carter, the Backstreet Boys singer had to face rape allegations from a fan of his band. According to reports, a woman named Shannon Ruth accused the father of three of sexually assaulting her after a concert in Washington in 2001.
Ruth also claimed that Nick offered her a drink on the Backstreet Boys tour bus and then took advantage of that to assault her and in the process, he infected her with HPV.
In his defense, Nick’s attorney, Michael Holtz revealed the said woman has been manipulated into making false allegations about the Help Me singer.
Besides Shannon Ruth, another woman named MelissaSchuman had also made claims that Carter also raped her in 2003 when he was only 22 and she 22. The singer went on to deny the allegations and the charges against him was later dropped due to the statute of limitations.
As for his wife Lauren, she never came out publicly to comment on the accusations laid on her husband and father of her children.

Nick Carter’s Wife Struggled with Drugs and Alcohol Abuse
During an interview with Larry King, Nick’s wife revealed she started drinking and abusing drugs as a minor. She added that while she was staying with her mum, she would sneak out to hang out with her friends and party and even miss school but at her father’s place, it was very strict for her hence she became the rebellious and lost focus.
He husband also acknowledged ongoing struggles with drug and alcohol abuse. According to the singer, she started drinking at the tender age of two but stopped. However, he continued when he got to age nine.
After Nick became sober, he credits his fellow Blackstreet Boys member, Kevin Richardson for helping change. He has shared his addiction stories on several shows including The Ellen DeGeneres Show and also The Dr. Phil Show’s Second Chances special.
Nick Carter’s Wife is an Actress
Lauren has appeared in several TV bad film projects. In 2016, she appeared with her husband in the SyFy film, Dead 7 and also in The Pendant in 2010. Besides acting, she has also co-starred in the VH1 reality series, I Heart Nick Carter.
The aforementioned series followed their engagement and subsequently their wedding ceremony. In addition to being a reality TV star, Lauren used to be a YouTuber as well. She had a YouTube channel called Kitt Fitt which she used to reach out to people who wanted to engage in fitness training.
Going forward, she also appeared in Nick Carter’s music videos. In the Music video, God Your Mama and Me, she featured alongside her son, Odin. She was also in Nick’s solo music videos Burning Up and Just One Kiss.
Of recent, Lauren and her three children appeared in Nick and Jimmie Allen’s Easy music video in 2022.
