Peggy Blow has been active in the entertainment industry as an actress since 1978; that’s over four decades and in all the years, her marital status and indeed her love life has been a mystery. It is not known if she has ever been married and it is hard to tell if she has any special person in her life.
People approach fame differently; while some famous people don’t mind sharing intimate details of their life with those who follow their career, others are known to be relentlessly secretive about their personal life and Peggy Blow belongs to the latter category. The German-American actress has ensured that all the attention she gets is restricted to her career and nothing more.
Because of that, there have been lots of speculations about her life, especially when it comes to whether she has ever been married or not. Despite this, the On My Block actress wouldn’t be dragged into discussing her private life with the public.

Given her age, one would expect that Peggy Blow is married and has built a family with her partner. This is probably so but most reports about her suggest otherwise. It has been posited in several quarters that the actress has never been married and has no family apart from the one she was born into. Again, this is probably true.
As stated earlier, Peggy Blow has kept her private life away from the public. She has never talked about her romantic partner nor has she said anything about having kids. This is why various platforms have concluded that she doesn’t have a husband. While that might be true, it is safer to only assert that nothing is known about this area of her life.
But then, is it possible for someone who has been in the limelight for over 40 years to have a family and completely keep it away from the prying eyes of the public?

As it is with her love life, details of her early life, upbringing, and the family she hails from are yet to be uncovered. To the best of our knowledge, the only information the actress has shared about her family background, apart from the fact that she was born and raised in Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg, West Germany, is that she had three aunts who guided her when she was growing up.
In one of her interviews that revolved around the character (Abuelita) she played in On My Block, Blow related that she deeply connected with the character because she embodied her three aunts in real-life – Velma, Falma, and Alma. According to her, these aunts were part of the Great Migration: they left their home in Atlanta, Georgia, and settled in Chicago where they worked for Time Life Magazine.
When they retired, they moved back to Atlanta where they bought houses next to each other and then devoted their lives to counseling and guiding younger members of the family. Peggy Blow asserted that the aunts were amazing as she described Alma as the strict one who suffers no fools. Falma, she said, is the kind that would tell you that things would eventually work out fine whereas Velma would offer a listening ear and ultimately guide you through any difficult situation.

Peggy Blow has been a part of the entertainment industry for a very long time and it all began in musical theater for her. Through this medium, she familiarized herself with performing arts and polished the skills she acquired in preparation for a professional career.
If we are not mistaken, she made her screen debut in 1978 when she played Bunny in Rabbit Test, a comedy film about the first pregnant man in the world. Her next role after that was as Ellen Johnson in Penitentiary II, a 1982 Blaxploitation drama film directed by Jamaa Fanaka.
Since then, Peggy Blow has been seen in dozens of productions but the work she is mostly known for is the teen comedy-drama series, On My Block. It also happens to be her most recent work. She is also known for playing Marge Smallwood in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air amongst other notable works as listed below.
