Her Husband Oleksandr Semenovich Zelensky Is a Renowned Scholar
Rimma Zelenskaya’s husband Oleksandr Semenovich Zelensky lived and worked in Mongolia for 20 years as a mining scientist. He was born on December 23, 1947, and is currently 75 years old. Oleksandr Built a mining and processing plant in the city of Erdenet, the second-largest city in Mongolia.
A renowned scholar in Ukraine and other parts of the world, Oleksandr has authored at least 140 publications and co-authored about four monographs; he is also a regular participant in international conferences. Rimma Zelenskaya’s husband graduated with honors from Kryvyi Rih State University in 1972 where he studied electrical engineering and automation of mining works.
Oleksandr Semenovich Zelensky became an Associate Professor of the Department of Statistics, Economics Informatics, and Computer Engineering at the Kryvyi Rih Economic Institute in 1992. A few years later (in 1995), he became the head of the Cybernatic and Computing Hardware Department at Kryvyi Rih State University.
Roughly a decade later, he emerged as a professor of the Department of Informatics at Kryvyi Rih Economic Institute.

Rimma Zelenskaya Has Two Grandchildren Named Oleksandra and Kyrylo
As stated earlier, Rimma had a career in engineering for forty years in Ukraine. At some point, her husband embarked on a mining research in Mongolia and she moved to the landlocked country known for its extreme climate to stay with him.
However, she returned to Ukraine after four years as her health was greatly affected by the weather in Mongolia. On her return, she retired as an engineer to manage her health. Since then, her life has mostly revolved around being a mother and grandmother.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy is believed to be her only child and through him, Rimma Zelenskaya has two grandchildren: Oleksandra and Kyrylo who were respectively born on July 15, 2004, and January 2013.
