John Daly’s Ex-Wife and Her Parents Appeared in Court on Drug-Related Crimes
In 2001, Sherrie and her parents Alvis Miller and Billie Miller were indicted for being involved in a drug ring and illegal gambling operation.
According to the news, they were involved in the transaction of buying and selling hard drugs such as cocaine, marijuana, and methamphetamine.
The activities took place between 1996 and 2002 and if found guilty, Sherrie would risk 20 years in prison.
At a point, the three family members were released on unsecured bonds.
This was not the only time Sherrie or her parents were involved in legal battles. In 2004, her parents were charged in “Operation Dirty Pool”. Her father, Alvis who was at the time 72 years old was sentenced to 30 months in prison and was also ordered to make restitution of $350,000.
Her mother on the other hand was 70 at the time. She was sentenced to five months in prison, five months of home confinement, and three years of supervised release.

How She Met and Married Daly?
Sherrie Miller and John Daly met in 2001 during the ST. Jude Classic in Memphis, Tennessee, and were married seven weeks after they met.
Prior to the wedding, her ex was married three times. First, Daly was married to Dale Crafton in 1987 and divorced in 1990.
Two years after, he was married to Bettye Fulford in 1992 and they welcomed a daughter named Shyna Hala. The marriage was hit by controversy when it was alleged that he physically abused her. Daly denied the claim and stayed in the marriage until 1995 when they divorced.
Daly’s third marriage before Miller was to Paulette Dean in 1995. On June 1, 1995, they had a daughter Sierra Lynn before they divorced in 1999.

In 2007, the former couple divorced. It was revealed that Sherrie and Daly had a fight at a restaurant in Memphis, Tennessee.
Daly claimed that at night after the fight, his fourth wife attacked him with a steak knife. The author was not arrested at the time since she fled the scene with the former couple’s only child together before the authority arrived.

This case started when Miller allegedly found sexually explicit pictures on her then-boyfriend’s phone. The pictures belonged to a middle school teacher.
Rather than ignoring it, Miller texted and threatened the woman that she was going to post them on social media.
Prior to the incident, Miller had asked for protection as the teacher was said to have been threatening her. Well, Daly’s ex-wife eventually got charged and was out on a $3,000 bond.
