He was born on January 19, 1977, to Lew Spiewak and Elly Rossen Spiewak. Todd and his two siblings, Joshua and Brian were raised in Boston by their parents.

Spiewak met Jim Parson in November 2002 when his boss and parson’s best friend set them on a blind date at a Karaoke bar.
