Born October 1, 1985, Alyxandra is the youngest daughter of actor and director, Georg Stanford Brown and actress Tyne Daly. She was born at Cedar-Sinai Medical Center weighing 8 pounds 13 ounces. Although she was born healthy, her mother was three weeks overdue.
Her name is also spelled, Alexandra. She was reportedly born at the time her mother’s career was bubbling so she had a nanny when she was just five weeks.
Xan, as she is also known, has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from Pacific Rim College.

1. Alisabeth Brown
Alyxandra’s oldest sister was born on December 12, 1967. She is a potter and a glassworker. She has reportedly worked as a porter almost all her life and she has now decided to try a new path as a glassworker. Alisabeth has two grown-up daughters.
2. Kathryne Dora Brown
Kathryne Dora Brown is not just the secondborn of the family but also the most famous one as well. She takes after her parents especially her mother in several ways. As a child, she always wanted to become an actor so she was enrolled in acting classes and was trained by the same person that trained her parents.

Tyne Daly, 78, and Georg, 81 started dating in 1965 after they met at American Musical and Dramatic Academy. While Daly was a rich Caucasian lady, Georg was reportedly a poor lad from Harlem. In other to support himself, he even worked as a school janitor.
Despite being from two different social classes and races, the pair fell in love and decided to marry. They later tied the knots in 1966 and at that time, their marriage was illegal in 17 states in the United States of America.
Alyxandra’s parents allowed their love for each other to transcend race and went ahead and started a family.
2. What Does She Do?
Upon her graduation from college, Alyxandra went to a cooking school where she completed programs for both cooking and baking. Later on, while she was living in Los Angeles, one of her sisters introduced her to the owners of the Village Bakery and Cafe where she worked for a couple of years before moving to Canada.
While in Canada, she studied Western Herbal Medicine. She is now the co-owner of Five Petal Creations.

Tyne Daly’s daughter met Mark Atkins while she was living in Canada. Xan said the first time they met, she knew he would change her life forever. After several dates, the pair discovered they had quite a number of things in common.
Xan and Mark both loved cooking and traveling among other stuff. Based on Mark’s profile on Facebook, the lovers got engaged on 27 April 2014. It seems they married on October 25 in 2015.
At the moment, Alyxandra is raising two children with her husband, Mark.
4. Brown’s Family Has Deep Roots in the Movie Industry
Beatris’s mother was born to the famous actors James Daly and Mary Hope. Her parents raised her in Wisconsin where she would later join the family in the show biz. Her younger brother, Tim Daly is also an actor.
Tyne started performing with her family at a tender age and reportedly earned her Equity Card at the age of 15. The Daly family is widely known and recognized in the entertainment industry.

Tyne Daly and Georg Brown became very famous following the success of their TV series, Cagney and Lacey. At a point, the duo was considered one of the most successful couples in Hollywood.
It was not long before The New York Post reported that the couple would be ending their 24-year-old marriage due to irreconcilable differences. At the time of the divorce in 1990, Alyxandra was the only minor among the children. She was only five while her sisters Kathryne and Alisabeth were 18 and 21 respectively.
According to reports, the former couple had to make arrangements for the custody of Alyxandra as they shared child support.
