She was the Centre of a Court Battle between her Parents
You’d think the scandal following her father’s announcement of moving on to another woman would be the end of the drama surrounding Amra Nor. Unfortunately, it isn’t, as the young girl who just turned 10 years old was roped into a court battle in 2019.
Well, it wasn’t just once because her father first started and then her mother replied.
In April 2019, Jeezy, formerly known as Young J, filed a custody case in court. The case was soon settled amicably with Amra Nor Jenkins’ parents coming to a consensus.
The deal they both reached stated that the rapper was to pay $30,000 in tuition fees for their daughter. Jenkins was also to pay a monthly child support of $7,500. Additionally, he was to buy a car for his ex-fiance.
A year later, a new case was filed and this time, by Mahlet. The jilted ex of Jeezy complained that Nor’s father had defaulted on his responsibilities. She claimed that the Columbian-born hadn’t paid a huge sum and also did not buy her the car he was ordered to.
Jeezy’s response was that he got her a car for their engagement and she had it totaled so he wasn’t going to get her another. He also argued that he funded a truck business for her and she squandered the funds.
As for the $10, 057 he was reportedly owing, the father of 4 said that he wasn’t obligated to pay for the month of April and as such, wasn’t owing anything.
Following Mahi’s request that he be locked up in jail till he paid up all he owed, Jay Wayne Jenkins retorted by saying his ex was only being vindictive and malevolent. He said she was pained by his relationship with his now-wife, Jeanie Mia. Nor Jenkins’ father also revealed that her mother had ‘maniac fits’ and even threatened to kill him.
