Barbaree Earl Nielsen is an actress who was active in Hollywood in the 1990s. However, it was until the 2000s after she got married to the legendary Canadian actor and comedian Leslie Nielsen that she became very famous. She was his wife till the last day of his life on earth. He died on 28th November 2010 due to pneumonia at the age of 84.
Before his death, Barbaree’s husband left an everlasting mark in the entertainment industry. He first started his career as a comedian but later switched to acting. It is on good record that he featured in more than 200 movies.

Babaree Earl Nielsen and Leslie Nielsen’s Love Affair
Barbaree’s life was in the shadows until she met and got married to a famous actor and comedian, becoming the fourth woman he married and also the last.
The couple walked down the aisle in 2001. Though it is not clear when they exactly met, it is possible the pair first bump into each other after his third marriage to Brooks Oliver crashed in 1983. After spending some time getting to know each other, the pair found the right reasons to spend the rest of their lives together.
They have been spotted at different times attending both industry and public functions together even before they got married. For instance, she accompanied him to the BAFTA Awards, which took place in London on 9th April 2000.
After the marriage, they continued doing the same, going on such occasions together. On 20th October 2003, the couple was in Westwood, California for the premiere of Scary Movie 3, where Leslie Nielsen played the role of President Baxter Harris.
They were also at the premiere of Stan Helsing on 20th October 2009, in Los Angeles, California. Likewise, on 20th August 2005, the pair were at the 5th annual Starkey Foundation Gala in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Everything seemed to be going perfectly well for the couple until death took Nielsen away. Before he died, the actor and comedian was admitted to Holy Cross Hospital, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It was reported that he passed away in his sleep from pneumonia in the presence of his wife Barbaree Earle Nielsen, friends, and family. Furthermore, the couple didn’t share any kids before his demise.
Since his passing, Barbaree disappeared from the radar. Currently, there is no news of her being in any relationship or marriage.

The Couple’s Love Life before Meeting Each Other
Details of Barbaree Earl Nielsen’s love life before meeting Leslie Nielsen are not known. It is not clear whether she has dated or married anyone before him. However, it can’t be ruled that she has never been in any relationship; it is just not in the open.
On the other hand, her late husband has been involved with other women before her. For clarity, he was married to three other women before her. Here they are;
1. Leslie Nielsen and Monica Boyer
Monica Boyer is the first woman Nielsen tested marriage with and failed. She was a nightclub singer. They tied the nuptials in 1950 but the marriage was short-lived, as it lasted for 6 years, from 1950 to 1956. No reason has been given for the split.
The marriage didn’t produce any children.
2. Leslie Nielsen and Alisande Ullman
After Nielsen’s first marriage crashed, he didn’t wait long to give it a second try. He married Alisande Ullman in 1958. By record, this is the longest marriage of his life which lasted for almost 16 years. During the marriage, the couple had two beautiful daughters; Thea Nielsen Disney who is also an actress, and Maura Nielsen Kaplan, who unsurprisingly has also followed the same path as other members of her family.
Despite what seemed like a perfect marriage blessed with kids, the couple divorced in 1973. Just like the first divorce, no reason has been given for this one too.
3. Leslie Nielsen and Brooks Oliver
Eight years later, the actor and comedian walked into marriage for the third time in 1981. This time around, he exchanges marital vows with Brooks Oliver. By record, this is the shortest marriage of his life. It only lasted for two years before hitting the rocks.
They divorced in 1983, and no reason has been cited as the cause for the split. Also, they never had any children in the brief union.
