Carol Burnett’s most recent husband whom she has been married to for over 2 decades now, is Brian Miller. Before their union which took place in 2001, the comedic legend and actress was married twice. Her first marriage was to Don Saroyan and it lasted for less than 10 years while the second to Joe Hamilton lasted for about 21 years (1963 to 1984).
From her 3 marriages, Carol only had kids with her second husband. She had 3 daughters with him and now has grandchildren as well.
Brian Miller, Burnett’s third husband has been by her side through thick and thin in the past 2 decades. Interestingly, he is 23 years younger than The Carol Burnett Show Host.
Carol Burnett’s Husband Right Now is Brian Miller
Carol Burnett met Brian Miller sometime in 1993 when she was billed to perform in a Musical in Long Beach, for 6 weeks.
Brian Miller, a well-known musician and principal drummer for the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, was part of the musicians billed to perform at the same event.
He played the drums and also had the responsibility of hiring other musicians.
At the time of their meeting, Carol was already divorced for 11 years and single. However, nothing started with them until many years later.
When Burnett ( 94) and Miller met some years later, a romance began which eventually led them to walk down the aisle.
The couple got married in November 2001 and has remained legally joined since then. They still enjoy date nights together amongst other romantic things.
Miller, Carol’s third husband, has been a very integral part of her life for the past 22 years. He has played the role of confidant, company, and partner.
Despite the age difference between the drummer and his wife, they do not seem to have any qualms. They do not have any children together but Miller serves as a step-father to his wife’s children from her last marriage.
According to the multiple-times Golden Globes-winning actress and comedian, as they grow older, the age gap between them narrows. She also stated that their communication is impeccable and many others in their situation may not be lucky to have such (paraphrasing).
Miller is also hands on deck for his wife’s career as he saw the production of her 90th birthday tribute on NBC. The 2-hour show titled Carol Burnett: 90 Years of Laughter + Love was executively produced by Brian Miller.
This is not the first time he involved himself in her professional life, though.

-
Don Saroyan
Carol Burnett has been making people laugh for over 7 decades and some time at the beginning of her comedic career, she got married for the first time.
While studying theatre and musical comedy at UCLA, just after high school, Carol began a relationship with Don Saroyan who turned out to be the first man she married.
Although they were sweethearts while in school and decided to build on their relationship after, the marriage did not last as long as expected.
Saroyan and Miller got married in 1955 and by 1962 the union had crashed. They were only married for 7 years and had no kids together.
-
Joe Hamilton
A year after the end of her first marriage, the comedian found love and got married for the second time.
Her marriage to Joe Hamilton, the singer and composer was in 1963. Before her, Joe was also married and, just like with Carol, his first marriage had barely ended when they proceeded to get married.
Aside from just being Carol’s husband, he was a key part of her comedic career as a TV producer responsible for producing a lot of her work.
Joe Hamilton was the producer of Carol Burnett’s Carnegie Hall concert (1962), Mama’s Family, Carol and Company, and even the TV version of Once Upon a Mattress.
With Joe, Carol welcomed her 3 children, daughters named Carrie, Jody, and Erin. Before his 3 children with the comedian, he had 8 children from his first marriage which lasted for 15 years.
This second marriage tarried for more than 20 years till their divorce in 1987. Unfortunately, 4 years after they split, Joe Hamilton died from cancer, in 1991.

Carol’s First Child Died from Lung and Brain cancer-related pneumonia.
Carrie was born on December 5, 1963, and followed in her mother’s career footsteps. She had a relatively successful career as an actress and singer but it was unfortunately plagued by substance abuse.
Luckily, Carol managed to get help for Carrie and was put into rehab. Rumor has it that at the time she was abusing substances, her parent’s marriage began to suffer which may have even led to their split.
2 months after Burnett’s marriage to Miller, in 2002, Carrie died from lung and brain cancer-related pneumonia. She was 38 years old when she died.
After Carrie’s death, Carol was devastated and didn’t want to do anything. It was her husband, Miller who motivated and pushed her into finally leaving the bed and fulfilling a desire Carrie would’ve loved for her to – opening a play mother and daughter co-wrote.

Erin was born on August 14, 1968, and she is the last child born from Joe and Carol’s union.
She is a singer, taking a cue from Carrie, and is quite popular in the American dance and electronic music genre.
Erin and Carrie share more than just a love for music as they both, at different times in their lives, abused substances.
In August 2020, because of Erin’s addiction issues, her mother and stepfather were granted custody of her son, Dylan who was born from her relationship with Tony West, sometime in 2006/2007. They became the sole guardians of the boy as his grandparents until a permanent guardian was assigned to the boy in 2022.
Erin was once married to Trae Carlson, a producer-writer. They had a son together named Zachary who was born sometime in the late ‘90s.
