She began her career acting career in the drama film Joe (1970). However, she gained prominence for her role as Janet Weiss in the cult classic musical comedy horror film The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975).
Susan started dating Chris Sarandon shortly after their paths crossed at the Catholic University of America.

Chris married his third wife, actress and singer Joanna Gleason, in 1994. They first met while performing in Broadway’s short-lived 1991 musical Nick & Nora. The pair also collaborated on several films together, including Road Ends, Edie & Pen, Let the Devil Wear Black, and American Perfekt.
Joanna is an award-winning Canadian actress and singer who was born on June 2, 1950. Even though Gleason began her acting career on television, her work in musical theater and on stage is what has made her most famous.
