Claudette Bailon is an 42–year-old from Lower East Side, New York
Claudette Bailon was born on October 3, 1980 in New York to Freddie Bailon and Nilda Alicea Felix. Her parents share different nationalities as her father is from Ecuador while her mother is from Puerto Rico. Her parents divorced when she was little and shortly after the birth of her younger sister, Adrienne Bailon.
As a result, the sisters were brought up by their mother and her second husband, Joe Felix. They spent most of their childhood in church and had an early musical start singing in the choir.
Moving on, she attended nursing school and graduated in 2008 after which she launched a career as a labor and delivery nurse before she later moved to the pediatrics unit. Over the years she gained experience in her field of work which may have contributed to her sister’s description of her as a kind person.
As of this writing, Claudette is no longer an active nurse yet it is unclear if she plans to return to the practice.
Claudette has Been Married for Over A Decade
Away from her career as a nurse, Claudette is married to Gerd Alexander, a real estate lawyer. The couple who tied the knot on May 7, 2010, are still together after all these years.
As to how they met, this is not clear. However, the details of their wedding are quite fascinating. Adrienne Bailon’s sister, Claudette, and her husband’s wedding was done on a very low key without any witnesses. This is due to their tight schedule as Claudette had finished a night shift and had to return to work. As a result, she had only a few minutes to change and exchange vows with jer man before returning to work.
The couple later had a bigger event with their family and friends in attendance a year after.

While Claudette once revealed that it has not been easy, she is still married to Gerard, and together, they have two daughters, Jet Marie Alexander and Beau Harper Alexander. Her daughters were born on March 6, 2012, and September 7, 2014, respectively.
So far, the snippets into her daughter’s life reveal that both are being homeschooled by their mother. Also, her young daughters, have shown an interest in modeling as they have walked the runway for brands like Rookie USA.

The Bailon sisters share a close relationship with themselves as well as with other members of their family. Their closeness is well documented in their social media and all the activities they do together.
Following the launch of Claudette’s Youtube channel, Get to Know Claude Bailon and Co which she started in 2022, she brought the camera lens closer into her life. She showcases important aspects of her life and all the relationships involved one of which is her and her sister’s own.

Adrienne Bailon is Proud of Her sister’s Singing
Inasmuch as Claudette is not known for singing like her sister, she is also a great singer. This came up in a Youtube Q&A when both sisters were asked about the better singer. It turns out that they chose each other. Moreso, Adrienne revealed that Claudette has better vocals than her. The two later sang together following this. This reminded many people of Claudette’s ability to sing. Whilst this may be news, it is not the first time that Claudette is singing.
The New York native from Lower East Side used to sing as a backup in her younger sister’s girl group 3LW. She was an instrumental part of the group, yet she was not one of the leading trio that recorded the band’s songs such as No More (Baby I’ma Do Right) in 2000.
Prior to their musical work, the sisters once shared a similar dream of becoming health workers. On her part, Adrienne had dreams of becoming an obstetrician in her younger years and like her sister, she was trained in the health line but decided to concentrate on music.
Moving forward, Claudette’s sister, Adrienne found success in her chosen career in the entertainment industry. She has acted in movies like The Cheeter Girls(2003), and I’m in Love with a Church Girl(2013). She has also hosted shows like The Real which ran for 9 years.
While she was building her career, at some points she left music because she was afraid of failure and did not like her voice. This would later improve after her marriage to the singer Israel Houghton. They featured in songs together.
Subsequently, she released her debut album New Tradiciones in 2017 marking a new beginning for her solo career despite spending years in the music industry.
