On the set of the AMC series Better Call Saul in July 2021 Bob Odenkirk, father to Erin Odenkirk suffered a heart attack that almost claimed his life. Thankfully, he was given CPR and a defibrillator was used on him.
He would later undergo surgery to help keep him healthy.
According to reports, the attack led to his not being able to remember things for about 8 days but received help[ from Erin and Nate – his children!
The attack also traumatized some cast and crew of Better Call Saul. Prior to the heart attack, the comedian knew he had a problem with his heart and after seeing 2 doctors, he believed the second who believed he did not need any medications at the time.
