Sandra Zober’s Ex-husband, Leonard Nimoy, is a famous American actor. He was born on the 26th of March 1931 in the West End of Boston, Massachusetts. His parents were Jewish immigrants from Iziaslav, Ukraine.
Nimoy, as a child, took on different menial jobs in order to augment his family’s income. He started by selling newspapers and greeting cards, shining shoes, and setting up chairs in the theatre. As he grew older, he graduated to bigger jobs like selling vacuum cleaners.
Leonard Nimoy started acting at the age of 8. He joined the children’s and neighborhood theatre. Nimoy was encouraged by his grandfather to chase his dreams despite his parents wanting him to go to college or learn how to play the accordion.
The Star trek began his acting journey after he moved to Los Angeles and with the money saved from selling vacuum cleaners, he enrolled in Boston College and took drama classes. In 1953, he enlisted in the army and served for 18 months. He left the army as a staff sergeant in 1955.
Leonard Nimoy started his career in film in 1952 and has over time featured in over 80 movies. He became famous for his role as Spock, the half-human, half-Vulcan in the Star trek series from 1966 to 2013.
Nimoy died on the 27th of February 2015, surrounded by his family, after a long battle with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Nimoy was a raging alcoholic and a chain smoker but stopped 30 years before he died.
His family referred to his passing as a “Gentle Passing” and they are currently advocating against those social vices that were responsible for their father’s death.
Sandra Zober and Leonard Nimoy were Married for 32 years

Zober got married to Leonard Nimoy in 1954. The couple got married while Nimoy was serving in the United States Army Special Services Detachment as a performer of fellow soldiers at Fort McPherson.
Their relationship was referred to as “Kinky”, as the couple enjoyed love-in parties where people explored their intimate feelings together. Although it wasn’t group sex, Nimoy’s friend revealed that there was a lot of embracing.
Zober and her husband were blessed with two children, Adams and Julie Nimoy. The couple remained married for 32 years before Nimoy left Zober on her 56th Birthday. They eventually got a divorce in 1987, four years after the separation.
Nimoy later got married to actress Susan Bay, Action Film Director, Micheal Bay’s cousin, on New Year’s Day 1989. The pair remained married till his death. Their relationship was referred to as “a loving relationship” by family and friends.
