She chose to begin her professional career and was chosen as the Washington Spirit’s first pick in the 2021 NWSL College Draft. Thus at the age of 18, she became the NWSL’s youngest player to be drafted.
Her dream of playing professionally was realized as she made her debut in the 2021 NWSL Challenge Cup. During the regular season of the 2021 NWSL, she scored seven goals to finish as the team’s second-highest scorer, and she was named NWSL Rookie of the Year in November 2021.
