She Hails From a Family that is Linked to Mobsters
Carla was born on January 14 1967 in Brooklyn, New York as the daughter of Louis “Louie” Facciolo and a mother who would rather keep her privacy.
Her father Louie is a mob associate of the Gambino crime family – an American Mafia family that was founded by Vincent Mangano in New York. He served under capo Leonardo DiMaria.
In addition, her uncle, Bruno Facciolo was allegedly an FBI informant. He would be shot and stabbed to death in 1990. It was nonetheless later reported that he was not an informant as was assumed.
The father of Carla was snitched by his friend of many decades, Salvatore Visconti. The older Fasccioli was partly the owner of the Portofino Soccer Club and would later be arrested.
Louis, born in 1941 lived for 78 years and died in 2019.

Since she found herself around crime from an early age to adulthood, Carla was reportedly determined to distance herself from the way of life and the people associated with it. In no time, she landed herself on the other side of the world with fame glaring at her through VH1 the TV show, Mob Wives.
The show makes the wives of incarcerated men who live in New York the centerpiece. She appeared in the first 3 seasons before taking a break on the 4th. In the 5th series, she made a guest appearance and returned as a major cast in the 6th season.
Apart from the showbiz career, the reality TV star is also enthusiastic about fashion and reportedly has it in mind to start a clothing brand. She also wants to add to her achievements that of soap making.
She has also expanded her line of business and creativity with writing and has written a cookbook on how to prepare wholesome family meals.
Carla Facciolo Married Joseph Ferragamo in 2000 Before His Crime Became Known
It was in 2000 that Carla became married to Joe Ferragamo and would later become the parents of a twin – a boy Perlongo and a girl Carmen Ferragamo.
The same year they tied the knot, it has been recorded that he was registered as a representative associated with Bryn Mawr Investment Group, Inc.
In 2005 after his 2004 arrest, he pled guilty to securities fraud and wire fraud. He was then sentenced to 6 years imprisonment.

What We Know About Her Divorce and Probable Comeback
Carla admitted to having marital issues with Joe even before he was sent to prison. Their divorce was said to have come when he was incarcerated and even started to date someone else.
Nevertheless, they were said to have given the marriage a second chance in 2011 after his release. In a report, Carla claimed to have not liked him that much but subsequently started to like him all over again.
At present, there is barely any information about the marriage at the time of this writing.
On the other hand, the TV star posts the images of her twin children who were born on November 2, 2002, and are currently 20 years old.
