Joseph Falasca began his career in the entertainment industry when he starred as Big Deal in a production of West Side Story as a senior in high school. He worked in advertising for some time before he decided to pursue his childhood dreams.
He has performed in quite a number of Off-Broadway productions as well as other theatrical productions. Falasca is not just an actor but also a writer and a producer. He has a few productions in Hollywood to his name.
His marriage to a fellow actress Nicole Ari Parker was unfortunately short-lived. They were only married for eight months and they did not have any children before they separated.
Joseph Falasca’s Family Migrated from Terracina, Italy
Although Joseph was born and raised on the Hudson River in Yonkers, New York, his parents are originally from Poland and Italy. His mother was from Vilnius while his father migrated from Terracina.
The actor is the eldest of three siblings. At the age of nine, he was already serving as an altar boy at Saint Peter’s in South Yonkers. Later on, he started skipping church just to go to a movie house in his neighborhood. It was there that he fell in love with the performing arts and other movies such as the godfather and Bonnie and Clyde reportedly captured his mind.

In March The 6’2” actor allegedly eloped with Empire actress Nicole Ari Parker in March 2001. However, despite the initial lovey-dovey, the pair’s marriage which was tied on January 12 2001 ended that same year in November 2001.
Following the divorce, it seems Joseph moved on with his life but he has not revealed who his wife is yet. However, his ex-wife went on to marry her co-star on Soul Food Boris Kodjoe on May 21, 2005.
Nicole and Kodjoe have been married for 19 years now and they share two children: Sophie and Nicolas.

He was Awarded a Scholarship to Study at Holy Cross College
After Joseph graduated from Fordham Prep in the Bronx, he was awarded a scholarship to attend liberal arts college at Holy Cross in Worcester Massachusetts. While he was there, he studied History and Economics.
He was also involved in a couple of sporting activities. He played varsity baseball but he was sadly sidelined due to injury. He also played ice hockey and as also flag-football. He is known as a founding member of the inter-collegiate ultimate frisbee club. It was while he was there that he got a chance to star as Big Deal in a production of West Side Story.
He Worked in the Corporate World after He Graduated from College
Before he even started working in advertising, Falasca reportedly entered the corporate world where he worked for the AC Nielsen company in Media Research before he later moved to J Walter Thompson.
He went through a professional training program at Thompson before he went to work as an Account Executive for Phil Dusenberry on Pepsi-Cola at BBDO and while he was there, he learned the art of filmmaking from directors like Joe Pytka, Joe Sedelmaier, and Greenwich Village. Also, he was opportune to learn advertising from Al Merrin, Richard Sabean, and Jeff Mordos.
During that period, His career seemed to be blooming as his team got nominated for the Palme D’Or at Cannes and his team won a Clio award. He later left advertising to focus on pursuing his career in the entertainment industry.
Falasca also did a stint o traditional packaged goods at FCB while he was with Colgate. It was while he was working there that he got to know the concept of commercial content. He got to learn the difference between making a film and commercial content.
Joseph later discovered working in advertising was boring for him so after his time with Sarah Holbrook at Propaganda Films, he made a resolution that advertising was not for him so he left.
Joseph Falasca Owns a Theater Company that Has Produced Several Off-Broadway Plays
Joseph started working in theater by producing a couple of plays. He performed in quite a number of stage productions including Playwrights Horizons and the Vineyard Theater.
In other to improve himself, he decided to study acting privately for over 10 years under the tutelage of Tony Greco, a member of the Actor’s Studio and a student of Lee Strasberg.
The actor later moved to Hollywood to pursue a career in Film and Television. Aside from acting, he has written and produced news stories and documentaries for Pacifica Radio. He wrote a feature film which is a dark comedy titled Mate for Life.
He later founded a small production company called Power Plus together with his brother, James S. Falasca. The company was active from 1999 to 2001.

Where is Joseph Falasca Now?
Falasca has had a multi-faceted freelance career first as an account, then in advertising, and lastly in entertainment. It seems he has not been active in the entertainment industry although his LinkedIn bio states that he is a producer at a company called Katorga.
Also, aside from acting, he is said to be a photographer. He has shared a couple of his projects on his Facebook page. As adventurous as he is, he reportedly enjoys taking trips to Joshua Tree. Also, he has skied with King Hussein of Jordan and has also biked through several places like Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, and also the foothills of the Himalayas in Bhutan.
