Johnny Damon Lasted 10 Years Married To His First Wife
The Asian America Hall of Fame inductee became married to his high school love, Angela Vannice in 1992. As his wife, she saw the earliest years of his career right from when he made his MLB debut in 1995 with the Kansas City Royals to his career with the Boston Red from 2002.
10 years later, however, the former couple headed for a divorce. According to Damon in his book Idiot: Beating ‘The Curse’ and Enjoying the Fame of Life’, his ex-wife was the course of their divorce. In her defense, however, Mangan claimed that he wrote things about her to gain the publicity that perhaps playing could not have gained him.

Following his career with the Oakland Athletics in 2001, Damon moved to Boston Red Sox in 2002. In 2004 while still playing for the team, he became married to Michelle. A year into the marriage in 2005, he left the team for the New York Yankees from 2006-2009. In 2010, he moved to Detroit Tiger, Tampa Bay Rays (2011), and Cleveland Indians in 2012.

They Were Arrested For Driving Under Influence and Resisting Arrest
In February 2021, the couple was involved in a police case when they were together and Damon was driving under the influence of alcohol which was later discovered that he had the legal limit of .30 and not up to the legal limit of .80. Michelle Mangan on her own part, was arrested for resisting arrest.
