Suzanne Yankovic is the wife of comedy artist, Alfred Matthew Yankovic popularly known as Weird AL. They got married after being introduced by a mutual friend and having a couple of phone dates.
From their 23 years of marriage, Suzanne and Weird AL have a daughter together named Nina who graduated from High School in 2021.
She was once a member of the 20th Century Fox where she occupied some key positions.
Suzanne Yankovic Wasn’t Sure about a Relationship with Weird AI
Weird AL met his wife through an actor and mutual friend, Bill Mumy, in the year 2000. The actor introduced them and they clicked immediately, according to Suzanne despite her initial reluctance. Suzanne Krajewski wasn’t so sure about getting to know the American artist at first. She however thought better about it and decided to.
People close to the singer, songwriter, and author have described him as introverted. Alfred Matthew was described as very calm, polite, and reserved. This is contrary to what most people would think from merely looking at him.
Suzanne Krajewski however gave it a shot and does not regret agreeing to have the phone dates with Alfred. After a while, the couple decided to meet up and have a physical date. While Suzanne was getting over her initial thought about being with Weird AL, Alfred had already developed a crush on her.
According to him, Suzanne was fascinating and asked many questions about him and what he does. He eventually had to refer her to watch the Behind The Music show to get her answers.
When they finally met, Suzanne and Yankovic didn’t waste time in making an official commitment. The next year, on February 10, 2001, Suzanne and Alfred Mathew Yankovic got married.
They Don’t Plan on Remarrying
Suzanne Yankovic and Weird AL have been married for 23-years now and don’t plan on remarrying. In simpler terms, the couple does not see themselves getting divorced or even starting another relationship that could lead to another marriage.
Weird AL was already 42 when he decided to get married to Suzanne. His wife was born on July 2, 1962, and was 39 years old when they got married.
Now in their 60s, and being married for over 2 decades, neither have plans of getting out of their marriage nor do they plan to remarry.
Alfred is also a devout Christian whose faith may have led to such a decision. He is so devout that he abstains from alcohol, use of drugs, and profanity.
Suzanne Yankovic has Helped the Actor Overcome His Weird Habit
Weird AL’s wife has been helping the songwriter overcome his hoarding habit. When they married, she went through the things he owned and had to give out a lot.
Suzanne had to give out a lot of his shirt collection to Goodwill and kept some from his high school which he still had.
He also used to keep a lot of fanmails which amounted to about 40 boxes. Suzanne had to convince him to do away with those too.
Weird AL had to agree to let go of a lot of things despite his sentimental attachment to them. He admitted that he didn’t want their nice Hollywood house to be cluttered with junk.

Suzanne Yankovic and her Husband Have a Daughter Together
2 years into Suzanne Yankovic and Weird AL’s marriage, they welcomed their first and only child together. Nina Yankovic was born on February 11, 2003, a day after the couple’s second wedding anniversary.
The 21-year-old girl graduated from XRDS high school in 2021 and often accompanies her parents to events.
Despite the family’s knack for keeping their personal life private, Suzanne and Nina do not shy away from making public appearances with Weird AL. The family often attends red carpet-events together.
Suzanne worked with 20th Century Fox for Many Years
Weird AL’s wife worked with KDAF for about many years and took on many roles. She started off in Dallas before she was moved from the office there to LA. Upon her move, she became the Manager of Creative Services for the 20th Century Fox’s syndicate division, in 1989.
In 1992, she was then moved to international television. She was eventually promoted to senior VP of marketing, promotion, and publicity for the 20th Century Fox Intl.
The mother of 1 took up these roles as soon as she graduated from college in 1985.
